Attached are the comments I sent to Planning
Commission, City Commission, and City Attorney last
night. Please feel free to forward these comments,
and this note, to anyone you think is interested.
I have been granted a brief time to address the
Planning Commission at this evening's meeting.
I fully expect the Planning Commission to recommend
approval of the re-zoning request.
The City Commission will then vote on May 8, and it
will be imperative that we let the City Commissioners
know how we feel about this (in a professional and
non-confrontational manner).
Remember, City Commissioners are elected officials
(Planning Commissioners are appointed), so you can
certainly let them know you will remember their vote
at the ballot box.
If you have signatures on a petition, we would love to
have them before May 8. Thanks for any assistance you
