There will be NO TUNNEL connecting Willowmet to Owl Creek Park.
The park entrance has yet to be determined, but will be located between Willowmet’s entrance and proposed church’s entrance.
The lighted parking lot will have lights similar to the lights in Granny White Park’s parking lot and will be lit all night.
The Park will be gated and locked by the city at night between 6pm and 10pm. The gate opening and closing will be seasonal, depending on sunrise and sunset.
There will be an Emergency call box near the facilities.
There will be two trails. The outer loop will be ¾ mile and the inner loop will be ½ mile. The trails will consist of asphalt and concrete, as well as wood plank over wet areas. THERE WILL BE NO TRAILS LIGHTS.
The fence along Concord Road will be the City’s standard four-board horse design, painted black.
The City will take bids starting in May 2006.
Construction of the park will begin in June 2006.
